This month we are just trying to stay consistent with daily writing as the job market heats up. You may have to cut your hours down significantly, but as long you stay engaged, you will be able to recover. This month and next month are crucial for accountability. Let's stay connected and stronger together!

Write every day (with at least one or two days off a week) for at least 30 minutes and no longer than 4 hours on most days.
Continue to track your writing and document your writing practice in the writing log if it helps you.
Continue to consult and revise your "unschedule" if it helps you.

WEEKLY PROGRAM CHECK-IN
Everyone must write a very brief update on Slack every Friday. Let us know what you did and how you're feeling, focusing more on the writing process and your overall well-being more than the content of what you did. Please respond to your cohort with messages of support! Tip: put this in your calendar so that you don't forget to do it. It should take no longer than a couple of minutes.
MONTHLY PROGRAM CHECK-IN
Check in over Zoom with entire cohort on Friday, Oct. 30th.
UPDATE IUPLR:
You should have sent an email with your plan to your IUPLR Director by November 1st. Let them know how you are doing thus far with your dissertation and summarize your plan for the second half of the fellowship. Attach your strategic plan. You should CC Jennifer, Deanna, and Nena (torresma@uic.edu). They are expecting you to write by this date.
