OCTOBER
JUST KEEP WRITING!
This month we are trying to stay consistent with our writing practice as job market activities intensify. You may have reconfigure your writing schedule or reduce the amount of time you write each day. The goal, however, is continue being engaged with your writing and dissertation progress.
TO DO
01
WrITING
Maintain your writing schedule with at least one or two days off a week. We recommend writing for at least 30 minutes and no longer than 4 hours on most days.
Continue to track your writing and document your writing practice with a weekly or monthly Writing Reflection if it helps you.
Continue to consult and revise your "Unschedule" if it helps you.
02
support
PARTNER SUPPORT
Continue checking in with your writing partners via text, phone, or virtual meetings. Let them know what you did and how you are feeling, focusing more on the writing process and less on the content of what you did. Try scheduling a shared time to write together.
